It is bounded to the north by Norway, to the east by Russia, again by Russia and the Gulf of Finland to the south; to the southwest by the Baltic Sea, and to the west by Sweden and the Gulf of Bothnia.
Finland has a highly industrialised economy, and its key sectors are the forestry (cellulose, paper etc.), metallurgy, metal mechanics and electronics (for example: cellular phones).
